Chihuahua Hematoma. Santa Paws. Dog is my co-pilot. Its camera phone time!

This is me when I had a big nekked spot on my melon cuz a big doggie chomped me good at the park. The Girl took me to her office and they shaved it and swabbed it and smooched it better. My hair grew back now but we just found this picture in the Girl’s phone and wanted to share it. Don’t tell that I was so grumpy about it they had to put a tiny muzzle on me! Who is Hannibal Lector anyway?

This is when I had to wear a red suit all the time. Everyone called me Santa Paws and said “aaawwww” when I pranced by. I felt very handsome.

And this was when we were waiting for Grandma in the car one night. I was REALLY REALLY excited!!!!!!!

10 things about Knuckles

1) I lived with a family for the first year of my life and they weren’t very nice. They didn’t teach me ANY manners and didn’t love me enough. They took me to a bad place that kills lots of dogs. That is where the nice lady who brought me to my mommy found me!

2) I don’t know how to do anything yet, like this “sit” I hear about but The Girl says she is going to take me to puppy school soon (even though I am a big boy).

3) My Girl takes WAY too many pictures of me. She is weird. Its like she can’t get enough of me or something.

4) My Girl’s Mommy (she calls me her gran-dog and she loves me a bunch) has an ANCIENT chihuahua with long hair who only has half his teeth and his tongue hangs out of his mouth. He won’t play with me. But if I try hard enough he does growl a bunch. When My Girl goes out with her friends my Grandma “puppy sit’s” and she gives me little bits of cheese!!!! YUMMMMMMM

5) My Girl takes me to work with her every day. She works at a place where they fix broken dogs and cats. I get my very own BIG cage with warm towels and yummy food and a little bowl of water and a big yummy bone to chew (thats just special for when we work) and all the other dog and cat fixers come and play with me all day.

6) The doggie park is my favorite place in the universe. I am in charge. Even the big dogs listen to me. My Girl says its because they are “baffled by me” but I don’t know what that means.

7) I like to watch The Girl all the time. She does weird things. She soaks in a bathtub and reads her book… I make sure she doesn’t drown. After her bath she makes hot air blow on her hair. I like it on my face but only just for a second then I have to run in circles. She has a machine that sucks dirt from the floor. I watch that from the couch. She cried the other day and I didn’t know what to do! So I chewed on her toes and it made her laugh and yell at the same time.

8) At night I am in charge of keeping the bed warm. I go under the covers and make sure she is warm.

9) In the car I like to sit on The Girl’s lap and watch what happens out the window. But when I am bored I climb up and fall asleep around her shoulders. She thinks its cute but keeps saying “you almost way 10 pounds!!!!!”

10) I am a GIANT chihuahua and I am just perfect. I made The Girl’s life happier a bunch and she will never take me to the bad place where they kill lots of dogs. We are gonna be together FOREVER!

Knuckles

Knuckles is my recently adopted giant Chihuahua. He is so cute. But SO NAUGHTY. He comes to work with me during the day and at night snuggles under the covers next to my knees. When he is ready to wake up he descends upon my innocent feet and bites my toes. No blood drawn yet. But I am anticipating it one day.

I have had him 2 months now, and he is just a love, but I feel the devil in him is waiting to come out at any moment.
